Privacy Policy

This application, Belle, is a local account and debt-tracking application. It helps you keep track of who owes you money and who you owe money to.

Data we collect

When you create an account (a record of a person you owe or who owes you), the app may collect and store the following information, entered directly by you:

• Name
• Phone number (optional, can be entered manually or picked from your device's contacts)
• Financial information (account balances and transaction amounts you record)

All of this data is stored exclusively in a local database on your device. It is never uploaded, transmitted, or synced to any server operated by us or by any third party.

Data sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit any of your data to third parties. The app does not contain any advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs, and it does not use the internet.

Contacts access

If you choose to pick a contact when creating an account, the app opens your device's contact picker. You select a single contact yourself; the app does not request general access to your contact list and only reads the name and phone number of the contact you selected.

Data deletion

You are always in full control of your data. You can delete an individual account (and its transactions) at any time from within the app. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all data stored by it, since nothing is stored anywhere else.
